MAP and LOCATION - Situated on the B8004, 4 miles from Fort William in an idyllic situation, giving commanding views of Ben Nevis, the Nevis Range Ski Centre and within a short walking distance of the Caledonian Canal and the famous Neptunes Staircase. There are many outdoor activities available locally.

DONTRA LOG CHALETS

With Lochaber holding the honour of 'The Outdoor Capital of the UK', there is a wealth of outdoor activities available in and around Fort William. The Mountain Bike World Cup has been held several times at nearby at Nevis Range, attracting thousands of contestants and spectators to the reknowned course. Nevis Range is also home to the local ski centre, with the only gondola system in the UK, which is just as spectacular in the summer months.

The Caledonian Canal, within short walking distance from the chalets, attracts visitors both 'on and off' the water - kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking

Or indeed, with Fort William being home to the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, the more 'energetic' amongst visitors take on 'The Ben's' 4406ft. The summit offers spectacular views [weather permitting] making the hard slog to the top all the more rewarding.

Whatever your abilities, Fort William should be able to offer most visitors an enjoyable and memorable stay.
